The book offers a critical analyses on how to fit green manures into Asian rice farming systems without adversely affecting annual productivity and income. Agronomic and economic aspects of green manuring for intensively cropped rice farms were discussed. Prominent researchers from several Asian countries participated in the symposium that produced useful recommendations for future areas of green manure research and development.
