Thông tin chi tiết

Tóm tắt :

The book presents the application of irrigation water that means an input of salts. Irrigation water, even of excellent quality, is a major source of solube salts. The percolation water will cause a rise of the watertable and has to be drained off, either by natural drainage or by artificial drainage. The aim of drainage in the temperate humid region is to control soil water for better aeration, temperature and workability, the primary objective of drainage of irrigated land is control soil salinity. The real salinity level in the soil will be lower than one assumed for the leaching requirement of the chosen crops. Capillary is a second source of salinization, encountered in irrigated areas. The process of salinization will continue on those soils in seepage ares that are not receiving sufficient irrigation water or rainfall for downward percolation
