Tóm tắt : | The cost-of-living crisis, on top of existing social and economic insecurities across the WHO European Region, have increased the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion. As a consequence, anxiety and depression, loneliness, illness, and injuries limiting daily life have all increased. Health authorities nationally and regionally have had to manage increased demands for welfare support and public health services, with limited resources and a squeezed fiscal space for the public sector. This period saw a growing realization that health equity and well-being and are crucial drivers of prosperity and critical to national economic recovery and resilience. In response, new initiatives, alliances, evidence, tools and technical assistance were implemented to support regional authorities, countries and partners to invest in recovery and resilience efforts that strengthen social cohesion, gender equality, inclusive economic growth and societal well-being. These efforts have also been channelled towards subnational authorities in several countries. vi, 48 p. |
